There was a time when realistic painting wasn\u2019t valued as art. Strangely enough, technical skill in artistic expression was seen as a thing of the past and not innovative. I, on the other hand, have always viewed skill and technique as the ultimate tools for self-expression. In this way, I can express myself as subtly as possible. Reality is sometimes of an unparalleled beauty and cannot even be approximated. But we can try with complete dedication.
